The ThermaWatch™ TWS-100 Serial Line Sensor is a distributed sensing device for temperature monitoring and protection of stator core and windings. It provides greater coverage than traditional RTD and thermocouple technologies.

The sensors are either cemented to the back of the stator core forming a matrix over the circumference or a specific area, or glued on each stator bar close to the stator core exit.

ThermaWatch is compatible with ZOOM® software for thermal mapping and correlation with other parameters

TWS - Stator Temperature key features

• Real-time multipoint temperature monitoring
• 100 temperature sensors maximum per serial line; several lines can be installed per generator
• Measuring Range: -55 to 125 °C (-67 to 257 °F)
• Individual measurement and alarms per sensor;each sensor operates independently
• Low profile sensor, only 4.78 mm (0.188 in.) thick
